Stoughton, MA – When a barn roof collapsed in Stoughton Massachusetts this morning, a call for help was put out over social media asking for folks with horse trailers and space to please provide emergency shelter for thirty-three displaced horses.

No horse was killed during the roof collapse, however, due to high winds and dangerous cold, the barn owners had to shore up the roof and leave the trapped horses inside until they had a place to go.

As cold as it is in Massachusetts today, this video of how once again the equine community came forward to help a “family” member in crisis is absolutely heart warming.
